Join us in De Pijp to help organize an Easter brunch that brings residents, neighbours, and volunteers together at Tolstraat 75, a welcoming care guesthouse. 🏠
Together with your group, you’ll take care of everything: from planning the concept and creating the menu to promoting the event, inviting guests, collaborating with the organisation and hosting the brunch, all in Dutch. 🇳🇱
Importantly, it’s a language course so you’ll use Dutch at every step along the way: discussing ideas with your teammates, talking with residents and staff, writing short texts for invitations or local media, and welcoming guests during the Easter brunch itself. 🐰
As a result, you’ll learn to express yourself, collaborate, and solve problems naturally in Dutch. It might sound challenging, but don’t worry, a certified Dutch teacher will guide your group through the 5-week process: weekly meetings with 4 weeks to plan and prepare, and 1 final week for the Easter brunch itself. ✨
It’s a hands-on, social project where you’ll gain real confidence speaking Dutch, learn to work together in a team, and help create a warm, festive spring gathering that brings local residents together. 🌷
